Wrote me a Bad check on a Closed Company Bank Account Ripoff

On January 9 Joel Mottinger responded to an add I had listed on Craig's List for a "Brand New In the Box! Toshiba M45 Centrino Laptop 512Ram, 80gb hdd Wifi $850.00". He came to my home on January 11 and purchased my laptop and wrote me a Company check for $850.00. On January 12 I went to the bank to deposit the check and the manager told me the account was closed.

I have written several emails to Joel Mottinger along with leaving a message at his company, which I now know, is his cell phone. As January 14 I have heard nothing back from Joel Mottinger.

Since then I have contacted my local Police department and have filed a case.
