Overcharging

I order our prescriptions thru MEDCO and the bill is charged automatically to the credit card I supplied them. It was only now April that I realized that I was charged in January $735.86 for a 3 month supply of KEPPRA while in July it's $101.31 and in October $100.28. I questioned them and said there is a generic available now and could have save had I used the generic. On my last visit to my doctor she mentioned about the generic but was hesitant to have me use them as she does not know what the side effect will be as I had a bad experience from a previous prescription hence I was switched to Keppra. I said I will stick with Keppra if we are just talking of a few dollar difference. I did not know that the difference is 7 times from what I was being charged before. Medco said I was charged correctly and that the plan for 2009 is different for 2010 plan. I asked if I could return them and was denied. I do know that the brand is more than the cost of generic but did not know that the difference in price is that obscene. Meantime I got in touch with my doctor about the situation and has now ordered the generic which I still have to receive and try. Medco said they will send a form which I have no idea what it is for. I was so mad about this and informed them that the change in cost is just unbelievable more so now with the recession. I could not believe I will have a problem on prescriptions. Also the new policy now is if you get a maintenance prescription at a retail pharmacy 3 times and not switch to mail order - I will be responsible 100 %. So much greed for MEDCO I don't know how they can sleep at night with what they are doing to us.
