I've been getting my perscriptions filled at my local walmart since it opened and never had a problem till now.
I recently got my meds refilled with a 90 day perscription. I didnt realize it at first but they charged me full price. Normally my medicine was less than $5.00 this time it was around $70.00 When I called walmart they said it was because it was a 90 day supply instead of 30 days and my insurance only covered 30 days not 90 days and next time just have it filled for 30 days. My problem is why didnt they tell me that before i got my meds? Im a widow woman with not a lot of money to spare but i need my diabetic meds. I feel that walmart should inform people about situations like this. They boast about the lowest prices but this goes to show they dont care for the people as much as they say.
