Took off channels

I want to know how the cable co. Can remove channels you originally Had, & signed up for. I sighned up for expanded basic didgital cable with several chanels that I really wanted.

Now they have taken those channels off without notice and put them into another package, & charging extra for them. I originally bought this package because of these channels.

If you bought a new car was paying for it, & the bank came to your house and told you you have to drive this old cluncker but your payments will remain the same is that right? Why can the cable co. Get away with this?

I know of no other company that can sell you a package of goods & then take part of it back without giving you an option, or at least a lower rate because of same.

Please can someone help with this???
