For one and one half weeks I made email communication with this individual as to my precise needs for my car. He then tell me on the day I call him to work on ym car that he was not aware it was a turbo and it woud require more money to fix. I agreed to his new price though $100 more then original estimate.
Y initial request by the way was very specific about kind of car and wor needed. On February 1 at approximately 1700 hours he arrives to my home with his wife and child to fix my car. I again show him all the parts as I told him I had already purchased in our txt messages and leave him to work. About 45 minutes into the job, he has the car jacked up, lower skid plate removed, air hose from turbo removed and he calls for me to come to were he is working in the street. He proceeds to tell me it is more work then he planned as he assumed I only wanted a timing belt change only. He was willing to do the timing belt for the $300 but need additional $200 to do the water pump and idle pulley. I then proceeded to explain how wrong it was for him to say this now as I was veryspecific in our emails and text messages and he being a mechanic should be aware this specific car requires the water pump to be replaced with the timing belt. He said absolutely not as he had to remove other parts to do were the belt could just be slipped on. He then went on to tell me the water pump is only optional and not required. He called his wife over who proceeded to claim I was harrassing her and he tok his tools and left my car partially disassembled on jack stands in the street. He claims the car could be driven to a garage but I found the air hoses still disconnected and a couple bolts that i have no idea where they go. His final words to me were I was crazy and he was going to sue me for damages.
