B.J. Hatch, Owner Double the price of all other repair shops

This company is part of other individual auto repair shops, all operating under the name American Care Centers. They are the ones located in Layton/Kaysville Utah.

Here's the story. I needed a water pump repaired so I called them for a quote... They wanted to charge 740.00 to replace a water pump. I already called around to the other American car care franchise shops and they were quoting 327.00 for the whole job.

I called a few other places that were not a part of the Franchise and the price ranged from 320.00 for 400.00. The one quote for 400.00 offered to change the timing belt even. (not sure if it's called the timing belt, but it was some belt.)

When they called me back for the quote, they boasted that they use quality parts and would change the timing belt.

Here's the kicker, I was in there once before trying to use a coupon for an Emission and Inspection, and they tried the ole find something else wrong with the car to make up for the discount.
