Well 2 years ago i thought i was paying off my debt, i paid phillps &barnes a settlement. They told me to pay them monthly, so I did. When Igot my income taxes I paid them in full

Well about two years ago phiip & barnes contacted me about a credit card i use to own. They said it was an attemp to collect a debt. So i didnt want any problems so i paid them monthly.
After paying them monthly i was tired so when i received my taxes i paid them i full. To my surprise my check has been gaurnished, saying that i still owe the same credit card. Two years later i dont know what to do. I have moved many times since then and i cant find my paper work.
