Paid for secure support

Having trouble with my PC. Cox Communications advised to get free McAfee download which might help. I ordered this with McAfee but got sent to Winferno. I did not get the program but was billed $ 74.89 invoice #CYE 111035. And billed from a Capitol Intellect (617 357 7000) on my Discover card on the 9th. I have contacted both McAfee and Winferno 5 times and always get the run-around. I'm 84 and don't know too much about buying on the net so who do I trust. Discover has held up paying for the normal time agreement but I paid my bill to them on Jan. 9. Cox has since downloaded this program no-charge. Can you help?
