We recently hired Mr. Polizzi to help us greive our Long Island Real Estate taxes. At first he advised us that we would need an appraisal on our property and the process would take 24 hours and would cost $350. We gave him the monies requested and did not receive the appraisal report for over 1 week. When we reviewed the report (which we found out was prepared by one of Mr. Polizzi's other companies) we found incorrect information and found that he purposly left out amenities so the tax assessor would not "tax" us for the improvements. Little did he know that all of the proper permits were filed with the town so we were'nmt going to fool anyone. My wife and I asked him to make the necessary changes and at first he said he would. We tried to call him a couple of days later and received his voicemail and have not received a return call at all. We tried to contact him several times and he continues to not return our calls for over a month. At this point Mr. Polizzi has taken our money and we have not received the service he promissed.
