Prompt Computer Service will gouge you easily.

Example: Some replacement parts they tried to sell me cost more than double the price I bought online. Then even if it takes them 10 minutes to fiddle with your machine, they will charge for their $95/hr fee. On top of that they add $25 "travel charge" - even if you're 10 minutes away - and finally, totalling the tax up? They also tax you on the complete total - parts, FULL hour and the "travel charge". Their tech was here for barely 20 minutes and by the time he left, we could have just bought new equipment.

Indeed - something is fishy here. Our complaint was met by indifference and argument, that this treatment is "industry standard".

Even if you're in a bind - they are not worth the cost. Go to kinkos or elsewhere to finish your work until you find reasonable prices and reasonable people to complete the task.
