Ripoff gouging customers with excess travel time prices on parts that can be bought at a local parts store for a fraction of the cost

I am a former employee who has worked in the industrial equiptment industry for many years. I have seen it all But this company is gouging customers with excess travel time prices on parts that can be bought at a local parts store for a fraction of the cost. They even have the nerve to charge a customer 8 hours to do a tune up. I dont know about you but a good tune up does not take 8 hours, and they charge 98$ per hour. Oil changes they charge 1.5 hours. I know in the Hagerstown area they have all but gone out of bussiness cause customers have had enough of the crap. Most customers have gone to other companys like Alliance Material Handling. Who have a great reputation for reasonable service, and its a employee owned company which makes it even better.
You folks who own small or large companys beware of these ripoffs and ask for prices up front and dont be afraid to shop around. Example McCall charges over 600$for a starter for a GM 4.3 liter engine that same starter with a lifetime warranty at local auto parts store is under $200 duhhh what the difference? NONE they are the same part. Too many companys let these ripoffs occur without checking. Its all about buyer beware, dont fall for these practices. Also if a employee complains they are fired for not going with the ripoff scam. I know i was. And i will add i have never been unemployed in my entire 50 years of working. And its been over a week and still have not recieved my final paycheck. I guess i will get ripoff too.
