"Meghan Rose" came to the door and said she was trying to raise money for a school trip. She was selling children's books that would be donated to the hospital's for Christmas. I was not leary of her, as she handed me a pamphlet that had the name of the company, Prestige Sales, LLC. And was very young. She was not even 20. There was nothing about her that seemed suspicious and I wrote her a check for $40. She told me the books would be donated, but I would get a $35 Visa gift card for purchasing the books. I looked at it like I donated books for $5. After weeks went by, I started to become suspicous and decided to research the company after my "receipt" number did not give me any information on Prestige's site. I found this wonderful site that confirmed my fear, that it was a scam. I write this angry and with embarrassment, but hope that people will see this review and not get scammed.
