Do not purchase a warranty or any insurance policy from 2-10 warranty company... They are a rip off company. They will take your money and when you have a claim they will refuse to pay on it... We bought a warranty in july on property that we purchased in august. This past week our gas furnaced started to give us trouble. We contacted the customer service at 2-10 warranty and they sent someone out to access the issue. 2-10 customer service was not satisfied with the assessment of the problem and sent out another technician to assess the same problem... The second opinion concurred with the first opinion, but 2-10 still was not satisified. They then demanded to review our home inspection report... Which is completely ludricous, because they accepted our payment in july, issued the policy in july and never once asked to review any reports on the property that we about to purchase (we closed in august). The cost of this policy was over $1000 for one year and it included heating systems and cooling systems malfunctions, replacements, and repairs... 2-10 declined the claim and refused to even compromise with us on paying for a portion of the repairs and replacement. Eventhough the policy states that they would cover these types of issues... This company is a rip off company. They take your money and then turn their backs on you when you need them. The whole purpose of a warranty policy is to protect your financial liability when something goes wrong in your home. 2-10 is under contract with us but they refuse to perform... Stay away from this company.
