Follow to the point of harrasment, Everyone is a DUI, Use excessive force to the point of assult

The Scottsdale police have a habit of following cars to an extreme, It seems as thou they are very bored and have nothing better to do. I drive a concept car with California plates and have been pulled over at least 2x's a week. I show all my paper work which is always with me in the car and in order.

I was pulled over one evening after watching the Laker game with friends. The reason for the pullover was complete bogus. From the moment I was pulled over until I was in handcuffs going to jail was all of 10 minutes. Extreme DUI. And 6 other offenses. The breathalyzers are never calibrated so I must be drunk. I have never been drunk in my life. I admitted to having one drink 2 hours earlier but am under a Dr's care and on medication. They never even asked what the medication was that I was taking, Just that i must be drunk. I was on anitbiotics and Provera a hormone replacement drug.

Since i was very weak and off balance from a massive loss of blood in the past 4 weeks, they assumed I was just drunk. Gave me a 2 minute field sobriety test. I did not resist and figured they would do blood work and let me go. Wrong.

I was taken to jail asked to remove my jewelry, which I did. Then asked me to remove my tiny nose piercing. I said " I prefer not to as it holds very spiritual significance to me " Not another word was said so i figured they realized it was no big deal to them. My very very bad... Little did I know I would be assaulted for the next 7 and 1/2 hours in their jail. I called 911 from the jail phone and asked what do you do when in jail and are being manhandled by police. I was instantly disconnected, I knew it was recorded and they knew i called 911 so they where going to do whatever they could to show me " WHOS THE BOSS"

My only comment to them was " you are violating my constitutional rights as an American citizen. This is not a third world country. I guess it made them mad that i was not going to swear at them no matter how much they hurt me.

I was never asked to submit to blood work, yet they say in there report they asked me 3 times. 6 officers held me down using excessive force to draw blood.

I am all of 140 pounds, weak from excessive bleeding and a single mom that has been laid off 2 times in the past 7 months. Now my car is in impound, i cannot afford a lawyer and everyone I speak to says it won't do any good to file a civil lawsuit.

I came out o f the Scottsdale jail, bruises all over my arms, a sprained and badly bruised ankle, contusions on my head and neck. I had an MRI at the emergency room, they wanted to call the police because it looked like I had been assaulted. My daughter told them don't dare, it was the police that did this to her mom.

I have never been in handcuffs or ever seen the inside of a jail. I lived in NY for years and Los Angeles. You would expect to hear something like this in LA but not Scottsdale.

Since then I have heard way to many stories about how they harass the residents. Every one is a DUI. Think it has anything to do with the fact they are getting government grant money for bring in DUI's. Sounds fishy to me.

I have no vehicle to get to job interviews this will be on my squeaky clean record. And I have a completlty different view of police.

To Protect and Serve. I think not. To abuse and harass is more like it.
