Vmi
Complete Scam, sketchy people... DO NOT waste your time

Miscellaneous

First, they told me they were a "consulting" firm that helped companies with their marketing departments, or so they allowed me to believe. When I spoke on the phone with Karen, I was surprised that she called me in for an interview without even looking at my resume. When I came in for my interview, the interviewee sounded like she was a robot, as if she was reading off a script... That should have put up a red flag, but given the economy, I really wanted a job. However, I was naive enough to accept to shadow someone the next day.

Eventually, I was introduced to two empty suits that I was going to be shadowing throughout the day. Again, I was naive enough to get into their car with them. I asked where we are going, and all they really said was "we are going to the customers." However, we eventually got to these industrial firms in Elk Grove Village, and they went door to door trying to change people's LAN line and internet service... NOT consulting, sleezy sales. I immediately knew I was not wanting to work there.

I was supposed to have a "review" at lunch, but instead I was pretty much criticized for not being sleezy sales people like them. So I cut to the chase and told them that I was not interested in the job, its not for me, and that I am sorry if they are stuck with me for the day. As much I was trying to be cordial, they were very disrespectful the rest of the day, and threatened to keep me in the car if I planned on sabotaging their sales runs. Luckily, I had someone pick me up to save me, and I ditched them.

If you are not smart, want to sell your soul to the devil and like to play people for fools, this company is perfect for you. If you got a good college education, don't waste your skills and knowledge with this faceless scam of a company. DO NOT let them suck you in, and DO NOT make the same mistake I did.
