Miscellaneous

This company is a part of the larger Cydcor scam. They post ads saying they train people for business and marketing management, but in reality it is a door to door sales/multi level marketing scam. You go in for the first 15 minute interview, they act like they may or may not call you in for a second interview, but it is a lie. Everyone gets called back. Then they have you "shadow" someone on your second interview... This actually means you get into a car with a complete stranger, get driven to somewhere in Portland and start doing door to door sales.

Meanwhile, the guy I was with gave me the pitch about joining the team and how much money I could make (it is commission only... No base wage, no compensation for gas) while driving his car in neutral on an empty tank of gas. Over lunch, which only I was eating because this salesman guy couldn't afford to buy a sandwich at Subway, he told me how they get paid. When I said "this looks like a pyramid scheme" we left and he finally took me back to the office and I had to sit down in a room with another guy who tried to explain it wasn't a scam. I wasn't impressed and finally he let me go.

Doing some research I have found a lot of information about Cydcor and how they rip people off. This is not an honest business. It is a lie and a scam. You will not make any money... If you think you might, take a look at the broke employees who can't afford gas in their cars or lunch. I strongly advise to Stay Away. They prey on young, recent college grads who are eager to get into the workforce. But this is not legitimate business.
