National Advertising Center
(NAC) "Green advertisements to be distributed at Whole Foods" is a Scam by NAC alone

In early March '09, National Advertising Center (NAC) imposed as Whole Foods and lured me into signing a low-cost advertising contract on its "green" magazines to be distributed at local Whole Foods in 12 monthly issues. I paid $199 set up fee and have a balance of $1300 to be paid in 4 instalments (I thought was quarterly, turned out to be 4 successive months.)
2 months later, I saw only ad proof with mistake after mistake. No print-outs, no pamphlets, no distributions. Then, I was asked to pay the 1st instalment in 7 days with additional service fee of $44. I was given an 18% discount if I paid one lump sum.
Uncomfortable of this whole deal and suspicious, I went to Whole Foods where the distribution point supposed to be, and saw not "green" pamphlets. I asked the employees. No one has ever seen them. I finally got a confirmation from their marketing department that this whole thing is a scam by NAC alone, and their legal term will look into it.
Please contact your local Whole Foods, so that they know how many people has been affected. If your friends are "advertising with Whole Foods", please alert them of the scam. Tell them to cancel their credit card, file fraud alert, and do all the steps suggested by searching "consumer fraud."
Collectively, we can find a lawyer here to fight back.
