Refer-a-Friend $50 Credit Denied After Ten Years as Customer

Direct TV sent out an ad in my bill saying Refer a Friend, you both make $50 dollars. I had a friend install and activate Direct TV. It has been over 3 months. I called Direct TV. They said that I have had too many credits over the 10 years with them and they are not going to give me my $50 dollars.

Honestly, I've been given Showtime for 3 months free because of an installation problem with them, and that's about it. I feel they must do this to a lot of their customers, and someday it is going to come back to haunt them. I am dumping them as soon as I can. I feel very wronged by them.
