Overnight concert tickets delivered late and the concert missed

I ordered 2 tickets to a concert in Oklahoma City from National Event Co. in New York. They sent them out overnight. The concert was Sunday, Dec. 2, 2007. FedEx said they came by on Friday, Nov. 30. They lied. I was home all day Nov. 30. FedEx never came by. They came by Monday, Dec. 3. Too late. I missed the concert. And I paid over 1200 dollars for those tickets.
I emailed FedEx. They could not care less. I thought about suing them, but I don't think it would do any good. I will NEVER use FedEx again.
