On August 22 I was hit in the rear by an individual who the police were first told did not have coverage by GEICO; then GEICO said the individual did have coverage. It has been 28 days and GEICO will not pay the claim and GEICO will not issue a letter to my insurance company stating the individual did not have coverage. I have uninsured motorist and my insurance company will pay the claim when GEICO says the individual did not have coverage. I have tried to be patient but this is just crazy. The individual either had insurance or did not have insurance. I am the victim and I am being punished because GEICO will not get off its bottom and do the right thing.
