I am a victim of fraud, perpetrated by priceline internet

Yesterday I went online to Priceline to find a deal on a hotel in the San Fernando Valley. I was given a broad choice of areas: Woodland Hills, Studio City, Warner Center, Universal City. (My husband and I must travel to one of these areas for a very important cancer surgery on October 6.)

I placed a bid on a hotel, assuming it would be in the area near Sherman Oaks, where the doctor and hospital are. But I was "awarded" accommodations in Eagle Rock, which is waaaay far out west of the San Fernando Valley. And after Bill's surgery, we must get back to the hotel FAST, so it must be close to the hospital! Eagle Rock is so far away, it is ridiculous!!! I have it in writing that Eagle Rock was not even among the areas up for consideration.

Yet when I wrote to Priceline that Eagle Rock was not acceptable, they refused to return my $187.14 to my VISA account, saying "we have a contract that cannot be broken". This is clearly a rip-off!!! I want to warn consumers about Priceline, that it is inflexible to its customers even when it is in error, as it clearly is in this case.
