I was purchasing a home through Candlewick Homes through a lease purchase agreement. The home was scheduled to be complete by 08/16, we had to wait until 09/16 to move in. A week after moving in we were told that we had to move out by Jeremy Jackson, a worker for Leo Wentz.

After conversating with them, it was agreed that we could stay in the home. They filed eviction on us within a month with false allegations of non payment. I had paid up through December but received a phone call while at work stating that we were being kicked out on 11/14.

I had the proof of payments made but was unable to show them in time due to working out of town. The Constable stated that they could have stopped the eviction they could see the proof of payments.

After talking with city inspectors and city officials I found out that the company had filed bankrupt. This company was not to be doing any business under the name of Candlewick homes.

I truly hope they got what was coming to them.
