I Introduced my friend to Vonage about a year ago, last June he started to have problems with the service, and we spent many HOURS on his cell phone with Vonage tech service, which increased his cell bill dramatically. He finally gave up and converted to another carrier on 8-07-08 then called to cancel on 8-9-08. Tech support put him on hold then hung up.

Last night I called after my friend found up they are still charging his credit card, the account manager said that they did not receive a cancellation order, and they have charged him for the full month Sep as well (although we called 9-8-08). Plus we have to pay $39 cancellation fee $3 for taxes... Becuse we cancelled in less than 2 yeares, although THEY ADVERTISE THERE IS NO CONTRACT COMMITMENT..

This is a RIP OFF and I am cancelling my contract with them at the end of the month since they do not credit you for any days after the billing cycle has started.
