Ripped off

I purchased a Sigma AF-MF Zoom Lens 28-300mm F3.5-6.3 DG Macro from this store. At first the offer for this lens was $1799.99. I was not willing to pay this. The sales person offered to take 10% off if I was interested. I said I would need to think about it. He continued to ask how I would plan to pay if purchasing. I said by mastercard. He immediately said he would drop the price to $1075.00. I told him I would still have to think about it. After much persuasion I asked if he would take $999.99. He immediately agreed and had the sale put through within seconds.

Upon getting home from New York I briefly did some research on this lens am finding it for no higher than $350 brand new. Some places are selling it for as low as $249. This is a significant difference from $1799 and definitely $999. He led me to believe that it was worth this much.

This has been a terrible experience and I highly recommend staying away from places like this.
