On april 23rd i went to search web for home owner warranties to see about best prices to campare and time period if something goes out after calling several competitors nationwide gave me the best price 45.00 mo., they procced check immediately, i was told that everything would be covered contract date was april23,08. With 7 day wait until they would cover anything on the 8th day i took a nice hot shower, then water heater went out they dispatched a plumber, and he left after replacing thermal coupler, still didnt work plumber stated it was gas valve, he never came back because natiowide turned down claim saying plumber said my water heater was corrosive, water heater was only 4 yrs. Old and clean as a whistle, i called natiowide numerous times to tell them this, they were rude and said they had to go by contractors repor, i called plumber and he said he never wrote nothing of the sort that these things go out for no known reason it just happens, them several plumbers advised me to tap on gas valve sometimes they stick, i did so and it worked fine again up to may30,08 i immediately called nationwide they said they were going to dispath econimy plumber, iwaite for approx. 36hrs. Called nationwide on june 3,08 nationwide stated they dispatched plumbe, i called plumber he said nobody contacted him at all. Everytime i called nationwide i asked for a supervisor lady said their was noone over her, and continued to be rude, i even asked if i could monitor the call, she hung up on me. They still are taking 45 dollars pr. Mon. Out of my bank account. This co. Is a big rip off. I would like to find a lawyer for class action suit.
