Great SALES pitch... That's it! 100 A Fallon Road

Buyer-be-ware, the commercials are compelling. The Sales pitch is wonderful and if something seems to good to be true it probably is. The people there are very rude and you rarely get a returned call, and it is never from someone who can answer your questions. Honestly, there are ways you can save money, but only if you have a lot of money. My wife and I decided that this would be a great place for a very wealthy person or someone who owns a bunch of properties they rent.

The reality, is it is marketed to people like us: 2 teachers, child on the way, doing a home project with a combined income of $90K /- My wife and I have done wonderful research on appliances, washer, dryer, TV's, etc and the trap you need to avoid is spending more then you would have, and getting the discount on the TV you would have bought in the store. The bigger issue is the mid-range items only have a savings of $50.00 to $100, and you'd have to buy a lot more then a dish washer, micro waive, oven/range, Wall mounted TV, washer/dryer, and Refrigerator to make back the $4500 you have to pay to sign up.

They make it sound like you will make this money back when you buy all these things, but the only way to make back the registration fee is to buy the very high end items that you would have never bought in the first place. The sad part is our baby will be here in 4-6 weeks and we could really use the $4500 we paid to sign up for this awful company. DirectBuy is certainly no Costco or BJ's. They really are ripping people off, and we only wish we had done more homework.

Did I mentioned their phone number doesn't even work now, and try and find a phone number for this location on line that works. I think they moved. It is your classic example of a company that only cares about making money. I'm guessing the people that own it also do subprime mortgages. I only wish there was a way to get our money back. Any thoughts?
