I requested a full refund on my deposit. I was told to write a letter to dispute before I can receive my money back. Florida

I called the phone number that I had for this company after serveral days of calling someone finally anwsered the phone. I told the women that I wanted to cancelled and to get refund on my deposite. I was told that the $200.00 was already received and would have to write a letter the nature of my dispute listing facts and details. That would determine the situation of me receiving my money back. A decision will be made between my written response and the findings of there investigation. Could someone please tell me why they just couldn't give me my money back. I went on line to see if I could find out anything about this company and I was so surprise what showed up under this company name and that im not alone in this sitiuation. They will be heraing from me again. Shows that you can't just anyone all I wanted was some help to rebuild my credit. This is a real slap in the face.
