Fairfield Resorts, Inc
Fraudulent ripoff business

Miscellaneous

On Feb. 20 I was contacted by Kristian VanWinkle from Apex Marketing about paying $89 for three days and two nights in Daytona Beach for just taking a two hour tour of their time - share resort facility. I told Kristian I wasn't really interested and would have to check with my wife but she was persistent and said once you get the packet you have 15 days to cancel the transaction if you want to. So I went ahead and ordered a packet. I received my packet on Feb. 25th and wrote a letter canceling the transaction on March 2.
As of today, April 11 I have not heard back from Fairfield Resorts, Inc. Or the Better Business Bureau in West Palm Beach, FL I e-mailed on March 23. The packet they sent me was real vague on where to send the cancellation letter to so I sent a copy both to Fairfield Resorts, Inc. And the to Apex Marketing in Little Rock, AR. It is amazing how quickly they were to debit my bank card and how slow they are to return my money!!!
What can be done to stop these high-pressure telemarketers and time-share sales people from ripping-off other unsuspecting consumers? Maybe the best thing I can do is let others know before they too get RIPPED-OFF!!!
