Fairfield Resorts
Apex Marketing rip off scam artist, false adverting/phone had me pay for a vacation and would not let me go cuz I did not "qualify"

Traveling & Tourism

April 16th I was contacted by Apex marketing, reguarding a "vacation getaway" package in Branson Missouri & Nashville Tennessee for Fairfield Resorts.

I was offered the Branson package, listened to the sales pitch, sounded great, I was told it was a time share & all I had to do was listen to a one hour speech & tour. I was never asked any question reguarding finances what so ever. When a second lady did the verifying she offered me the Nashville package at a discount with the Branson package, I took it also.

When I decided to book my vacation, I was asked what credit card I wished to use, informed them I had none to use, they stared asking me financial information, at that time I was told I did not qualify due to the fact I did not make $40,000 a year OR have a credit card. They refused to refund my money, totaling $197.52 for both packages, I was told I did not qualify for the vacation & my only option was to "give them away" to someone who did qualify.

All I want is my money back, I tried to report it to the state attorney general office to try to get a refund, but I do not have the cancelled check as I used "electronic withdrawl"... I do however have the orginal paid reciept I received with my reservation informaion as proof of payment.

Do not listen to them, they do not tell you the whole story on the initial phone contact as to how you have to qualify for their vacation packges until later when you try to make reservations.
