Miscellaneous

Do not buy from this company, their products are inferior, their products do not install as advertised and their customer service is the worst. I purchased a set of hard bags for my V-Star 950. When I recieved the bags and got past the initial assembly phase, I attempted to install the bags with the hardware provided and there were issues with the bag on the drive side, the bracket was not compatible with my bike. When seated on the bike, the bag would hit the rear sprocket and frame. After numerous attempts to make it fit and work I contacted Ride Bike Gear. I was told that I needed to modify the brackets or purchase another mounting system. I was told that they would give me back my money for the brackets provided. I ended up paying to have the brackets modified only becuase it was less xpensive than a new mounting system. The story is much more complex, but I'm trying to keep it short. But as of this date; some 10 months or more later, I still do not have my money, as promised, for the brackets, one of the bags has now cracked at the mount holes and the lock fell off of the other bag while I was riding and Ride Bike Gear will not respond. Absolute crap product and service.
