09/11 with the receipt of my purchase I returned a JUA350 USB 3.0 HDMI DVI Adapter to the inability of being able to reach the tech support for the item that I could not get configured to my hardware. This item was 79.00 (of an 1109.92 purchase made on 08/04).
I was told they would not refund the amount to my credit card but could only issue a Store Credit. I was then shown the receipt that shows the NEW return policy of 15 days (Change as of? This year). I was then told by the manager that if I was a "Premier Silver Member" it would have been 60 days. The managers name at the Chattanooga TN. Store on Gunbarrel Rd. Was Corey. He was not helpful or understanding to this situation. I will no longer do business with Best Buy. I am blogging about this and I am posting to my FB.
After taking the store credit card and having to now purchase other items that I did not need in order to never have to do business in this store again; the store credit card they issued did not work and they had to spend 30 minutes correcting this mistake; the store was not even busy. This made an hour of additional time that I did not have. You can't imagine the frustration.
I plan to invoice Best Buy for my time that should have never had to been spent.
