I'm furious.
I have paid for a parcel to be collected on the 8th and delivered within 48 hours. It still hasn't arrived. I had an email from my Ebay client specifically telling me that the parcel had been collected and was on it's way. So when I spoke to the customer service team they proceeded to tell me that my parcel was in fact collected on the 9th and that it would be arriving within 2 days.
So when I tried to explain to the customer service representative that this was incorrect and that there was an error on the company's part I was disconnected by said representative! I then used a different IP address to speak to customer services on the Interparcel website again only for the same thing to happen.
The fact that there is not only no clear explanation as to why my parcel has not yet arrived within the expected timeline and that I was cut off by a member of staff who clearly didn't know how to handle the situation has lead me to believe that this is NOT A SERVICE TO BE TRUSTED.
I do not expect to pay money for a service that can't even keep track of what day it is! There is so much competition in this industry that you would expect that Interparcel would be doing everything within their power to keep their customers happy to ensure they will use their service again. Clearly not. Why tell someone a package is going to be delivered within 48 hours if you are incapable of performing said task?! Why not give your customers a realistic expectation instead of setting them up for disappointment.
Not only am I disappointed about the actual delivery service itself, the customer service and care has been with out a doubt some of the worst I have encountered. The sheer ignorance of their online customer service team is laughable. I cannot wait to get on the phone to a manager!
