Improperly installed dryer - Sears drye

Sears installers ruined the first gas dryer they installed for us in 2004... Vented it wrong and the gas circulated thru the dryer and filled our condo. When we were ready to replace the front loading washer/dryer we went back to Sears thinking that was just poor installation company and requested a different one. The dryer was washer/dryer was delivered. The dryer would not heat b/c they installed the door improperly. They brought us a new one and here it is 14 months later and our condo was filling with gas when the dryer was running. 2 trips from the gas company, 2 trips from the plumber, 2 trips from sears denying their responsibility and we r throwing in the towel. The tech even said that the dryer vent was jury rigged... After all of those months the thing they pieced together had jiggled loose. The installers pieced together a vent, which we paid for. He also said that there was a kit and it was the ONLY accepted vent for that machine. We wasted $4,000. After hours on hold, tons of false information and incompetence. We were repeatedly lied to about the appointments where we waited and the techs no showed and lied and said we cancelled at the door... Or that we had the day wrong - even tho we got the reminder call the day before. They are shameful! And I see by thousands of reviews on multiple sites that they treat the majority of their customers this way. It is not worth the frustration and stress to deal Even after we escalated the problem to the Blue Service Crew we were given the run around! We will never buy another warranty... They can treat you how ever they want b/c they already have their money. We told Sears to cancel our warranty and send us the money which is their policy. We will see if they honor it. Run away from sears as fast as you can!!!
