I was told by the sales lady that my bank gave them my info because i had amazing credit, (which was false) i then was told because of my amazing credit that i had just won a diamond watch and all i had to do was give them some info, as i thought it was for my bank since they knew so much about my information about me i processed to give them info after that they started to pressure me into getting magazines i had told them no at first said all i would like is the free watch then they said that to get the watch u must just make a payment of 57$ to get 6 monthes of magazines first since i figured it was a small about i said sure but before confirm and agreeeing i asked the sales rep if i could cancel at anytime, she stated "YES" after the matter only being from febuary to now i get a phone call from them saying i need to pay them a payment when as the lady stated u had already made a payment to them for 57$ for 6 monthes and it still was even six monthes and i didnt even receive a first magazine till 2 weeks ago from them, i had called 3 day after the phone convo because i callled my bank to cancel my visa but it already went through so i paid it but still canceled my card and got a new one and asked scotia my bank if they gave my number to these people, they said no!!! And that it was a scam so in all i was then very scared that now they had all the info about me and everything else, so as ive been trying to cancel it they refused from all ends to try or even help me on the matter and hung up on me and told me they are taking me to collections... So from my part ive made a complaint with BBB, i need help this is very stressful they shouldnt beable to hustle people like this and their not be a way to cancel and that your locked into a 5 year contract with them ive even stated to them i dont care for a refund of the 57$ THEY CAN KEEP IT and keep the rest of their magazines and just cancel me but they refused...
