Conned me into subscribing to some magazine, lied to me about receiving a free gift, will not let me cancel, calling non stop for payments for these magazines i dont want!

I received a call from a woman telling me that i had amazing credit with the credit card company and that because of this they wanted to reward me by entering me into a drawing for $1million and also they would give me a free vacation for 2, but i had to get these magazines.

They made it sound like such a great offer and i really needed a vacation. I was at work and was trying to get off the phone with them and they were talking rather fast and it was hard to understand so i agreed to get the magazines. I went through the whole process and gave them my information.

I received a call about 2 or 3 days later to confirm everything and i asked the woman to cancel my subscription. After i had time to sit and process the whole thing i realized that i had made a BIG mistake! She told me it was too late i already gave them my information!

It was a while before i started receiving the magazines so i thought maybe they did cancel it. I kept receiving phone calls from the company offereing me the same thing but each time it was a different free gift. Finally i asked one of the people if my subscription ahd been cancelled because i ahdnt received anything and they said no it just takes a while.

So i finally started receiving the magazines but no free gift. The phone calls kept coming. If they didnt reach me on my cell they called my home! One time i got a call froma woman offering me a men's and ladies' diamond watch if i subscribed to the magazine and i told her that i had already got suckered into this but i never received my free gift. Well as soon as i said that i never got me free gift she hung up.

The phone calls kept coming so i finally sent them an email telling them i ddint want this anymore, that my financial situation had changed and that i could not afford this anymore and that i didnt have the time to even read them. I received a response saying that they would take my name off the calling list so i would not receive any calls anymore. But that they already paid for the magazines so i was stuck paying for them. They lowered my monthly payment from $74.75 a month to $25.00.

I know that $25.00 doesnt seem like a lot but i have rent and bills and i am putting myself through school and i dont make a whole lot of money. SO $25.00 a month IS a lot!

The phone calls stopped for a while but have started up again.
