Home phone, cell phone, parents' home where I haven't lived in ten years, employer's main office (not my actual work office) and brother's home was called on 3/13 with a message from Rebecca Meyers saying a complaint had been filed against me and I had 48 hrs to return the call or the client could make a decision without my consent. Call came from Unknown number but the woman left a callback number on voicemail. I panicked because they called my job. Otherwise I would have ignored the call completely.
Called back, spoke with Sharon Walters who told me I was scheduled for service at my job on a GE Discover Paypal card I did have but paid in full that had 300 limit. She told me I owed we'll over 7000 from 2008 and that I was going to be sued and that they would get a judgment against me and they were doing investigation into garnishing me or seeing if I own a home or car or have any other assets. I offered a settlement which they accepted and I paid via debit card against better judgement.
I feel so foolish and I know better.
