eBay held my wife's eBay and PayPal accounts hostage until she paid off a negative balance on an account my son had with PayPal.
My wife has had an eBay account since 2010 with 100% positive feedback. When PayPal found that my son and my wife logged on from the same IP address, they locked her PayPal and eBay accounts.
