Fall Savings Coupon Accepted at Checkout Then Refused by PayPal

Ebay sent me a fall savings 10% coupon directly to my ebay account on 10/28/08 in the morning. When I went to use it, ebay accepted it and deducted 10% from my auction. I proceeded to pay thru paypal and paypal said the coupon was not for me! Paypal refused to allow me to use the coupon that ebay sent to me. The person from ebay customer service said they inadvertently sent coupons out to people that did not qualify for the 10% but she could not determine if I was one of those people and I must check with paypal. Paypal said they didn't believe me when I said I received the coupon, but had no way to check with ebay to confirm if I was qualified to get the 10%. I posted this problem on ebays checkout discussion board and was banned from the discussion board for a week!
