I had an overdue amouny of $617.71 owed to Team Mobile Cellar Company. I had requested "a weeek to pay it off in full" after its due date of November 16. I was told "no"."My services would be suspended if I did not pay it right then". I explained I couldn't, as I would not get paid until that Friday, after talking to them on a Saturday. Later my debt was sent to Convergent Outsourcing, Inc. (a collection agent). Arrangements were made between me and a representative of that companyto pay off my debt starting on November 26 to February 22 the total balance of $617.71 amount of the total balance due. Two arranged payments were made using a Visa Greendot card with the representative giving me confirmation numbers of withdrawing the money I had deposited for payment of arranged debt. Then, on the next billing statement from Team Mobile, I was charged another $710.25 to be paid by December 9. When I called and inquired about the additional amount, Team Mobile stated I "did not cancel my policy". I replied, "no, you cancelled it for me" They not only expect me to pay this outrageous additional charge, They have also sent me account to yet another collection agency, Sunrise Credit Services, Inc. For a bill totaling a balance due of $1513.70, when I am almost finihed paying off the balance of 3 remaining last payments to Convergent. I told them I would get a lawyer and notify Consumer Reports of their actions against me. They stated "they have no records of me making any payments". I told them that" I am contesting their decision, as it is poor communication on their part not to have communicated with Convergent about a client of their's whose account they sent to collections". They told me to submit my "Contest in writing". I also told Sunrise that "I contest the amount they are asking when the debt is halway paid and I don't owe the amount they are asking". They, too, requested "my contest in writing". Please help, Team Mobile is highway robbers! They conduct business illegally.
