Horrible customer service 3 one of which was a supervisor named carol all three were aware of the software pop-up glitch and had obviously experienced it with other customers as the first service agent indicated that i had purchased this unit 01/06 and not contacted magic jack since and prices aparently had changed 01/12 to the current rate of 29.95 and the pop up was imbedded in the device and had not beem activated because i had not contacted the company for the entire year in fact i had not even used the device the entire year nonetheless the ad popped up yellow with a giant x through the $29.95 replacing it with a 19.97 dollar amount for one year there was no mention of a five year package which they kept repeating knowing that was not the ad that over popped your window and not the order form i filled out it clearly stated the amount of $19.97 for one year service and $10.00 for number change i checked out and when i got my email reciept the amount had changed back to $29.95 not the agreed amount of $19.97 when i contacted the customer service they were aware of the ad and what happened but flat out refused to honor it and kept repeating that rates had changed and i could only get a rate of $19.95 if i bouht a 5 year package disregarding totally that i filled out a rate window of $19.97 for one year my transaction ts25406789 old # 786-350-4823 new # 904-352-8453 id captivefront my name robert knott cell number 305-202-1572 its not the fact that its a difference of $9.98 its the fact that you advertised it your employees were aware of the ad and amount and ignored that fact and were rude and hung up on me and according to the reviews rigt down to the employees names including the supervisor this has happend thousands of times, by state law you are bound to the advertised rate posted at $19.97 and i manage a large international company who carries your product since its enception and i am submitting a complaint to my district supervisor on monday if i do not get proper resolution of this manner in a proper way
