Xbox Replacement Plan

My Xbox360 stopped working, I called Target to get it replaced because i have a 2 year "No Hassle" Replacement Plan. When I talk to Target they do not want to help me but rather send me to Microsoft to get it repaired. I do not want to go through Microsoft because I purchased a 2 year replacement plan through Target, Yet Target still sends me to Microsoft. I called Microsoft and told them i have a 2 year replacement plan with Target and proceed to give them my TAR# and they laugh at me stating that is not valid with Microsoft (How can this be Target told me their warranty is good). So i call back to Target and explain to them that Microsoft is no way involved with Target or their 2 year replacement plan (which we both knew). So again i am asking Target (Not Microsoft) to honor their 2 year replacement plan. I know i have a year FREE, including shipping, replacement plan with Microsoft, but i dont want that. You see i bought Targets 2 year "No Hassle" replacement plan which allows me to take it to the store and get replaced and I want to use that. It seems that Target has sold me a 1 year replacement plan disguised as a 2 year plan. How can Target legally get away with selling me Microsofts FREE 1 year warranty and adding an additional year to it then call it Targets 2 year "No Hassle" replacement plan. This is no acceptable at all and I want Target to replace my Xbox, not Microsoft. I bought Targets replacements plan not Microsofts.
