SCAM - VIRUS Potential

I downloaded a SMART HDD virus last night and had to clean my computer. Today, I was called by a company that told me they were an authorized Microsoft repair facility and would like for me to run their software to check my computer. THey would then offer me a package to optimize my computer. WHen I asked how they got my information, I was told that it was from Microsoft.interesting since I had moved and Microsoft did not have my info. Beware.
