Disabling of gmail account=loss of information/contacts

On Sunday, 2/26, I was unable to access my GMAIL account due to ERROR 500 as posted by GOOGLE with assurances that the matter would be cleared up with 1 minute to 48 hours. I have since spent hours and Days trying to fill out there computer generated forms (some asking for information from years ago such as what day, month & year the account was opened) and then being told to click the next button... That sends me back to the exact page i am on. Meanwhile a good part of the information they request is in the GMAIL i cannot open. They request an e-mail address to mail me at, which they have nuked, therefore I opened a HOTMAIL account which I will be most happy to use from here on in if they would at least give me my contacts, saved mail, sites etc. Back. When I now try to access my GMAIL ACCOUNT they send up a page that tells me if I need assistance to go to what turns out to be that very page again. I am frustrated and furious and now paln to file a complaint with the FCC To at the least get their attention and with hope in my heart resolve this and reclaim my information. If anyone out there has any information to assist me please contact me.!!!
