Credit card billed for additional mail services never ordered

Internet & Web

Yahoo billed my credit card for "additional mail services" that I never ordered. I called their Customer Service Department and also sent them a letter to find out what the charge was for. The company's response, in writing, was that I should file a dispute with my credit card company to get the charge refunded.

They would not tell me what the charge was specifically for, and the Customer Service Representative even commented that it appeared someone may have hacked into my account and made an unauthorized purchase. Now I have to take the time to contact my bank, file a claim, and wait weeks or longer for a resolution, which may not even be in my favor. After being a paying customer of Yahoo's services for over 4 years, I definitely feel I have been ripped off!
