I had paid for high speed internet for 6 months and was not getting the speed guaranteed. A technician came out to correct their problem. I was given a credit on my account for the speed I had not been receiving. But then I get a $40 service call charge - for them coming to fix their problem. They told me that if I had purchased the "protection plan" then I wouldn't be charged. So I have to pay for protection from their screw ups???
