Insufficient customer support

For that past couple of months, Cox Communications has elevated my regular service-fee every month. After I approached their (insufficient) Customer Support, the perspective of the broker was "our costs have increased... Cope with it" - after I requested to consult with a supervisor, I had been informed "they are simply likely to let you know the same". I obtained an automatic mail reply from Cox informing me they "treatment" about their clients which somebody might return with me - which was many nights before and also to day, nobody has tried to react. Exactly why is it that there's ONE-ONE wire company for my region? If my-memory provides me, I'd believed that MONOPOLIES were illegal.
