I was on my third computer charger when the charging port stopped charging my HP laptop. I found a company called Computer Doctor in Havelock, NC and took it in to be repaired. I was at first a little hesitant about leaving my computer here because the entire place smelled like an ashtray and the customer service was far from good. I just don't appreciate F bombs being dropped in casual conversation.

Computer Doctor charged me $100 and took 4 days to complete the repair. I took the computer home and the next day my computer was not charging again. I called to let them know the problem still existed and to ask how long the computer would take to fix. I use this computer for my business. They rudely told me to bring it back in and they had to look at it to tell me a time frame.

I took the computer back to Computer Doctor where they plugged it in and it worked. They then tried to tell me it was my BRAND NEW computer cord. I told them the cord was new, they argued that they break all the time. So I left and took my computer to an office supply company and tried to charge the computer there. No luck. My charger was also fine, it worked to charge another HP laptop in their store.

I called back in to simply get my money back. At this point the port was working only part of the time, so the problem was not fixed. They said they do not guarantee their work and I could not get my $100 back, even though they did not fix the computer. At this point I am without a computer and out $100. Do not take your computer to Computer Doctor. They do not guarantee their work and if the problem is not fixed you will simply be out the money.
