Ripoff stolen computer that was supposed to be fixed

About a week ago our computer broke. We didn't know what was wrong. My brother told us to call Computer Doctor of Pueblo. We did and they sent someone to our house to look at our computer. It turned out that he couldnt fix the problem there, so he took the computer back to the shop to be fixed.

My mom called him two different times in the next few days to get an update on the computer - if they had found out what was wrong with it, when it would be ready, etc. The repairman first said he hadnt looked at the computer yet, then he said that he would have the computer to us by the weekend.

My mom called the Computer Doctor again for another update since it was almost the weekend (Friday). When she called their number, it turned out it had been disconnected number. Then she called the repairman's cell phone and it had also been disconnected.

When the repairman came to our house, he had said he was from Trinidad, Colorado and gave her his business card. My mom called information to see if there was a telephone number for him in Trinidad. There wasn't. However, there IS another Computer Doctor in Trinidad. No address is given in the Yellow Pages. Strange. The only address for Computer Doctor on the business card was a P.O. Box address.

Luckily, the day the repairman came to our house he forgot the $125.00 my mom payed him. We let him know he forgot it, but he never came back to get it. Our computer is worth a lot more than that (maybe $1000), so he probably thought that was a better deal.
