Hp laptops wont last more than a year

HP laptops are the WORST investment one can make. Currently, they are selling a series of laptop computers that have been known to overheat and eventually die... They fail to recognize this as a problem, but with hundreds of people facing the same fate with their computers... How can it NOT be a problem? I spent $1,500 (which I saved up for nearly a year) and I get a computer that within the first 6 months had already overheated and went kaput. HP did in fact fix it the first time around but after the one year warranty was over they could care less... This is a defect within HP's systems, not mine, or any other customers who purchased this piece of c*ap.
There are forums and petitions to prove that this is a REAL issue that needs to be addressed and fixed. For example: or AND even a petition with over 450 signatures:

HP should address this issue NOW and do some sort of replacement for customers with this very issue. I am so disgusted... I didn't do this, I didn't break my computer nor did the other people, this is an HP DEFECT... Plain and simple!
