Iron Man PC Game Will Not Read DVD After Install

I have now bought two new copies of the PC game "Iron Man." It will install, but afterward, when you attempt to play, it says words to the effect that there is no DVD in the drive. It cannot read it!

This is a known problem with Sega, and eventually they came out with a patch (about a year ago), but many people cannot load the patch either. They will not respond in forums or emails, and have never officially admitted that they made a faulty game for many, but the patch clinches it in my opinion.

I advise against buying the game, because until you open and try it, you will not know if your drive will handle it (there is no known list that says which drives will or will not work). Once you open it, no store is going to take it back.

It has been a year since the one and only patch, and I seriously doubt Sega will make another. You will not get an apology or an admission that the game is no good, and certainly no refund from Sega.
